Four cleared of murder

The four handed Old Bailey murder trial of Richard Price resulted in an acquittal for Micheal Liddell represented by Simon Russell Flint QC and Param-Jit Theara, represented by Dafydd Enoch QC. The 23 Essex Street silks were remarkable in their defence which left the jury unable to find the defendants guilty beyond all reasonable doubt. A third defendant, Murat Karabeyaz, was also found not guilty, whereas Jagtar Johal was found guilty of manslaughter.
