£28,771 worth of benefit was illegally obtained over 14 years by the husband of a 69-year-old woman. Chris Badger successfully prosecuted the case where the wife signed forms on three separate occassions claiming she was jobless. Although co-habiting, Mr Macaulay claimed he did not know his wife was gainfully employed.
