Businessmen Guilty of False Accounting at South Yorkshire Trading Standards

Instructed by the SFO, Lynn Griffin was successful in her prosecution of 3 co-conspirators in a false accounting fraud perpetrated at the now defunct South Yorkshire Trading Standards unit (SYTSU). The three businessmen pleaded guilty and each received a 12 month suspended sentence after it was came to light that they had used their individual companies to assist the former head of the SYTSU, Michael Buckley, to make false representations about the financial position of the unit.
