23 Essex Street Salutes Three New Silks

Chambers congratulates John Price, Alan Kent and Iain Morley on their appointments as Queen's Counsel announced by the QC Appointments Panel and the Ministry of Justice on 19th February. Our new silks will be sworn in at ceremonies held at Westminster Hall and the Royal Courts of Justice on 30th March.
John Price was called to the Bar in 1982, he has experience in all areas of criminal law, both prosecuting and defending, including murder, sexual offences, firearms and drugs. He is ranked in both Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500 for his work within mainstream crime.
Alan Kent was called to the Bar in 1986. He has substantial experience in prosecuting mainstream crime, including murder, manslaughter, rape, robbery and complex cases involving multiple defendants. He has led for the Crown in many murder trials and other serious offences and is ranked for his criminal practice in the 2009 Chambers and Partners directory.
Iain Morley was called to the Bar in 1988. He has extensive experience at all levels of criminal work, prosecuting and defending, including murder, manslaughter, rape, robbery, supply and importation of drugs and dishonesty in all forms. He has been appointed by the UN Secretary General to assist prosecuting cases arising from the Rwandan genocide of 1994 at the International Criminal Tribunal in Arusha, Tanzania.
