Public Inquiries

Practice Group : Public Law

Members of chambers have appeared in a number of leading Public Inquiries over the years including the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry, Morris Inquiry and the Saville Inquiry into 'Bloody Sunday'.

Additionally, we have expertise in civil actions concerning the police, employment law and judicial review. Chambers prides itself on its ability to assemble teams of advocates to meet the demands of complex cases and to work within multi-disciplinary teams consisting of officers, investigators and experts, often at the investigative stage of potential proceedings.

23 Essex Street numbers amongst its members a Chairman of the Police Appeal Tribunal (Simon Russell Flint QC).
